Teaching the students in this school was a pleasure. They were pretty committed to attending
every day and really wanted to learn to speak English. The D Class was the most advanced class and they hardly ever missed a day. We were teaching about 15 hours a week at the school, plus the English class at the school. We also started an English class for doctors at the hospital, but only got one of those classes in before having to leave Khovd and return to the US. We really enjoyed teaching here, even though it kept us really busy with so many teaching hours plus the hours it took to get the lessons prepared.
They loved playing American games like Bingo, Skipbo and Uno.
We actually taught English and did other work too!
