The Idaho Falls Zoo

The Idaho Falls Zoo - May 7, 2012

We had such a great time at the zoo with Harlee.  She loved the animals.

The llama, the penguins and the donkey.
We got to feed the goats and they were very friendly--almost too friendly for Harlee!
They were right in her face and eating out of her hand!
One of them even wanted to dance with Grammy!
This is how Oaklie spent the afternoon at the zoo.

And a cute pic of the tiger and her riders.
After the zoo we made a quick stop at the zoo park. There were some fun things to
do there and Harlee enjoyed them all!

Rexburg Ice Caves

Rexburg Ice Cave Adventure - May 8

While in Rexburg, Andy and Alan went caving at the Rexburg Ice Cave.  Andy was a great guide.

They had a great time!

Circus! Circus!

Circus!  Circus! May 8, 2012

While in Rexburg, we went to the Circus.  It was Harlee's first circus and her first cotton candy.
I think it is safe to say she loved it.  But, she was a little hesitant until Mom and Dad
tried it first and she saw how much they liked it.
Some of that acts at the Circus were pretty cool.  Of course, the elephants were the best!

Oaklie Janiece Blessing

Oaklie Janiece Groesbeck - Blessing - May 6, 2012

Oaklie was blessed by her daddy, who gave her a very nice blessing.  She was surrounded by men who love her so much, grandparents, great-grandparents on Abbey's side, Uncle Carl and several members of their ward.  She was so beautiful in her blessing dress.  Because they had stake conference that day, Oaklie (or OJ as I like to call her) was blessed in the Primary room after conference.
What a cute little family!

Such a beautiful little baby--and she was so good during her blessing.
Oaklie and Papa!  So Cute!
We are so proud of Andy and his sweet family.  Abbey is such a good mom
and Harlee is such a good big sister.  (Well most of the time from what we hear!)
Oaklie is getting a great start in life by having a great family.

Mission Blog

Mission Blog

This will be our official mission blog which will share experiences and pictures from Mongolia.

Pre-Mission Sweep  - May 5, 2012

Before leaving for Mongolia we did a quick 10-day, 1950 mile trip to Rexburg and Moscow to visit with children and grandchildren.

We started out in Rexburg for the blessing of Andy's second daughter, Oaklie Janiece (named after her two grandmothers--Jana and LaNice). Em and Carl and their family went up as well and we spent the first night in a hotel with a swimming pool.  We had a great time, even though the water was pretty cold.
Th twins and Oaklie stayed in the warmth of their car seats.
Andy got a new underwater camera which he and Carl were anxious to try out.
Here are some of the results.

It worked pretty good.
