We went to Choibalsan with President and Sister Clark and Elder and Sister Stewart. The branch warmly welcomed us ans we had a good conference. Following the conference, we were part of the first virtual Sacrament meeting to be held in Mongolia. It originated in UB, we participated in Choibalsan, and Hungai and one other location in Mongolia where members participated. It was really quite historic. This is an effort to make Sacrament Meeting available to those who don't live close to a branch so they can be worthy of a temple recommend. It actually worked pretty well, but we had to participate by phone because the internet in the hotel was not working.
The next evening we had FHE with several members of the branch. We had dinner and then they shared a gospel message and their testimonies. It was a great evening.
Purvee and Boditsog. They are preparing to go to the temple in March.
Suvaa, Togie and Ulzii. Their daughter is serving a mission on Temple Square right now!
Tumee (speaks English very well), her mother, Tsevelmaa, and her father, Bataar.
They have been to the temple and are stalwart members of the branch.
We had a great conference with associated member visits. We were said to see the visitors from UB leave, but we know we will be very happy here in Choibalsan with these wonderful branch members.
