P-day lunch with the Elders. We had pumpkin soup and Mongolian burritos.  The soup was excellent.  The burritos were pretty good except the meat was sort of tough, as usual!

This is the largest district we have served in and it includes two elders from Bulgen, a church group located in a small town outside of Erdenet. 

The missionaries prepared breakfast and a surprise birthday party for Alan.  It was fun.  They prepared a special Korean soup that is supposed to bring good health and many blessings in the coming year.  Hope it works!  The large cake was made by Sister Erdenchimeg on top of her wood stove.  It was good!  We also had khooshur and a rice/meat dish for breakfast. 

It was fun celebrating Alan's birthday with the missionaries.  They are so thoughtful and loving!

Our own Mapleton elder--Elder Clement!  He's such a great guy and a wonderful missionary! We love him and are so glad we got to serve with him and get acquainted with him.  We didn't know him before, although we do know his mom from the Stake musical several years ago.
