Outings with the Browns

JAKER'S PUMPKIN PATCH

One day after school, we went to the pumpkin patch close to the Brown's house.  It was a beautiful Fall day.  There were so many activities for the kids to do.  This was the hayride.  Bekah wasn't too excited about going, so she stayed with Mom while Grammy took the rest on the wagon!  It had been "Crazy Hair Day" at school, so Kimee had several ponytails in her hair!

There were hay bales to climb, a maze made of hay bales, and pumpkins to buy.

These four had a pretty good time at it, I'd say!

There was also a little petting zoo with a goat and some pigs. 

TRAFALGA FUN CENTER

Emilee and Carl had bought "Pass of All Passes" for their family and they had not used the one for Trafalga yet.  They had a gift certificate to use at a fancy restaurant in Salt Lake, so we all went to Trafalga and then Carl came and got Emilee and we stayed with the kids and then they stayed the night.  We had a great time!

One of the highlights was the race car.  Emilee is a pretty safe driver.

Ethan was a little scared and wouldn't go in the car the first time that Kimee went.  But, after Em and Carl left, he decided he wanted to give it a try, so he got to go with Papa.  We only bought so many tickets, so what we could do was somewhat limited.  But we still had a lot of fun!

Ethan wasn't so sure about the airplanes either.  He watched Kimee go a few times, and then right before his parents left, he decided he liked it. 

After he decided he liked it, we could hardly get him to get off.  They would ride, jump off, run around 

and get in line again and go another round.

There were also some carnival rides.  This one is the pirate ship and they both loved it. 

It seemed that Ethan got more brave after his parents left! 

The twins were too small for most of the rides, but they were very good to stay in the

stroller most of the time. 

There was a little play yard where they could get out and run around!

Miniature golf is always a hit!  They don't know or play by the rules,,,,but WHO CARES!

There was also mini golf inside.  And the walls were all painted bright colors and then lit with black lights.  It was pretty awesome.

And then there were the arcade games!  Bowling seemed to be the biggest attraction!

Jake needed a little help, but he did OK!

We finally were able to convince them it was time to go home.  All the way home, Jake and Ethan kept saying, "Pizza!  Pizza! Pizza!"  So that's what we had for dinner.   We stopped for $5 pizza and had pizza night before they all crashed for the night!  The twins were tired and so we didn't have any trouble getting them to bed as we were a little worried about that.  This was their first sleepover at Grammy's and I'd say it was a HUGE SUCCESS!
